My son and I stopped in for lunch today and we were far from disappointed. The girls serving behind the bar and the tables are lovely and very welcoming. The food was 1st class and arrived efficiently and is very reasonably priced. Absolute wee gem of a place

Cosy bar very welcoming and friendly staff. Good food and service. Clean room and beds. Historical building full of local information and some Gaelic sayings in the bar area. Very pleasant.
Was only there for lunch with family. Excellent customer service and food was amazing n delicious
Can't comment on rooms,but food was great.Good portions and everything piping hot.Service was overly attentive though,waitress hovering for drinks order as we sat down.Wasn't personal as she did this to everyone! One party hadn't even sat down when confronted.
Alot of history I this old bar. Love the double boat bar. New owners and new food so should do a bomb.
Perfect for a night at Troon and right across from the ferry terminal. Bed was brand new and rooms are being refurbished. Rooms are above a really lovely typical Scottish bar restaurant with fire place etc. The owner was very hospitable and friendly and breakfast was massive. Coffee was great
Overnight in the harbour car park in our motorhome. Short walk over the hill, to the anchorage and the harbour bars. We have eaten in both, food was excellent and great portions. Staff helpful and attentive. Warm welcome and very dog friendly. We will be back!
